SHORT SALE—THE WAY OUT.
ARE YOU FACING FRECLOSURE ?

 You still have options.  Do not let your house go to foreclosure.  Too many people are loosing their homes not knowing of the possibilities they still have.

 A. You can re-negotiate your mortgage terms with your lender and keep the house and lower your payments. This is called loan modification.

 or

 B. You can sell your house and have the bank agree to take lower payoff. The bank will also cover all closing costs and in case of the FHA loan the seller can get $1,000 incentive for participating in a short sale rather then letting the house go to a foreclosure. This way of selling is for homeowners who fell into financial hardship and can’t afford to make payments ( loss of job, illness, divorce,  decrease in income).

 Short sale is a better way for homeowners because they won’t have “foreclosure” on   their credit history( most banks report short sale as “paid in full for less then full balance” or “settled” ).

It is better for the neighborhood because the house never becomes a foreclosure and sits abandoned for months.

I have recently successfully helped numerous homeowners in distress with short sales. They are not easy and not always 100% guaranteed. But I truly believe that  every avenue should be used before the house is lost through a foreclosure.
